Escape the city without
breaking your budget!
In these turbulent and uncertain
times, it is even more important for couples to get away
from it all and renew the spirit that brought them together
in the first place. Just the two of you can enjoy a relaxing
getaway minutes from Silver City. Save the gas money and
fighting traffic, no two hour arrival before departure, no
security check, and no hassles. Stay for a night or a week
and feel like you are miles away from home.
The peace and tranquility
of Georgetown Cabins may be just the right thing for you.
Newly constructed cabins with all the comforts of home. Just
bring your food and drink, over night bag, and you will be
set for a relaxing time.
Lazy mornings, lengthy
breakfasts, relaxing afternoons, moonlit nights, welcome to
your getaway place! Each cabin has its own private yard or
wrap around deck. The views are endless and the solitude is
calming.
If you’d like a
therapeutic massage, we’d be glad to arrange that for you.
Dinner recommendations, no problem, we’ve got you covered.
Birthday? Anniversary?
Honeymoon? Special occasions are our specialty. Let us know
if you’d like for us to provide a bouquet of flowers or
roses upon your arrival. Our pre-arrival concierge services
can make that happen seamlessly. A box of chocolates, rose
petals, yes we can take care of that too. We are dedicated
to making your first stay with us an annual one.
How about an easy stroll
or hike through the forest and a romantic picnic? Each cabin
has a picnic pack including plates, silverware, wine glasses
and a small cutting board for cheeses.
Enjoy bird watching? We
have an abundance of beautiful birds feeding at our many
feeders.
You may see deer, wild
turkey and perhaps our big beautiful bull elk that has been
seen just off of Georgetown Road.
Bring your bike if you’d
like and enjoy scenic Georgetown Road and Shingle Canyon
Road. Explore to your hearts content!
A geologist’s paradise,
many enjoy searching for a unique rock or hidden gem stone.
Georgetown’s history will
bring you back again and again as you unthread the wild,
wild, west of 120 years ago. Did you know that Lottie Deno
and Cherokee Hall were infamous gamblers here at Georgetown
and that Lottie Deno was the inspiration for Miss Kitty on
Gunsmoke? Yes we know Billy the Kid was from everywhere in
southwest New Mexico, but his stepfather did have a
restaurant in Georgetown and Billy’s juvenile misadventures
are documented in Georgetown lore.
Time alone together in a
quiet, peaceful setting with an easy return trip home, what
more could one ask for?
